Joint force carries out security operation in Anbar: PMF

A joint security force carried out on Friday a security operation in Anbar.

A statement by the Popular Mobilization Forces PMF received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "a joint force of the 57th Brigade of the Army and the Popular Mobilization has initiated a security operation to raid and inspect Western Anbar."

It added that "the 57th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization carried out a raid and search operation in the "Al-Wata" area located within the desert areas west of Anbar province, and the brigade also conducted an audit of the database of its residents in order to prevent the infiltration of terrorists and their presence in the province of responsibility."
