Coordination Framework affirms security readiness and budget amendment

    The coordination framework held Today, Monday, an expanded meeting at the office of Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim in Baghdad, stressing three files, most notably security readiness and budget amendment.  

    "The coordination framework held an extensive meeting at the office of Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim in Baghdad, in the presence of its leaders, heads of blocs and deputies affiliated with it, to discuss a number of important laws and axes on the agenda," the media office of the framework said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). 

     The framework’ media office added that "the attendees stressed the importance of maintaining these meetings periodically to enhance coordination," stressing "the need to pass laws that have a direct impact on the lives of citizens, and it was also agreed to move forward with amendments to the budget law to ensure that the government implements its service program in order to achieve social justice."


    In the context of political developments in the region, the participants renewed, according to the statement, "their call for a ceasefire in Gaza, calling for support to the Palestinian people in facing the current challenges," stressing "the need to maintain security and military readiness to face potential risks."

     At the end of the meeting, attendees stressed "the importance of strengthening national unity to face internal and external challenges," noting that "national solidarity is the basis for achieving political and social stability."
