Iraqi Airways announced the joining of 3 modern aircraft to its fleet.
A statement by Iraqi Airways, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, "For the first time in the history of Iraqi Airways, three newly-made B737-8 MAX aircraft take off from Boeing Field Airport, south of downtown Seattle, in the United States of America, towards Iceland, led by an Iraqi crew, in preparation for the delivery flights.
He added, "These planes will officially join the Iraqi Airways fleet next Sunday."
