The Ministry of Interior announced on Monday, the arrest of 27 foreigners who violated the residency law in Kirkuk province.
The ministry stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the Department of Residence Affairs within the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence in Kirkuk province managed to arrest 27 foreigners who violated the residence law, after careful investigation and follow-up, which led to their arrest."
The statement added, "The Directorate continues to track down violators of residency regulations," calling on "all citizens to provide information and report their whereabouts, and not to shelter them to serve the country's security."
