The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul al-Amir Yarallah, and the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations command (JOC), Lieutenant General Qais Khalaf Al-Muhammadi, arrived on Monday, in Kirkuk province.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, “The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul al-Amir Yarallah , arrived today Monday, with the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Khalaf Al-Muhammadi, to Kirkuk province."
The statement added, The visit aims to investigate the latest terrorist attack that targeted members of the Federal Police Forces."
Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani directed Yesterday Sunday, the formation of an investigation council into the terrorist incident in Kirkuk.
