Iraq: 1526 flights departed from Baghdad International Airport in October

    General Company for Air Navigation Services, the Ministry of Transport, announced on Wednesday, the statistics of aircraft departing from Baghdad International Airport during the month of October.

    "The company contributed to supporting the national economy and supplementing the state's general budget in the field of aviation by providing safe passages for local and international civil aviation companies with full commitment to air safety procedures according to the standards issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization - ICAO," said the company's deputy general manager, Shibli Muhammad Dhari, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    He added "The number of flights departing from Baghdad International Airport last October was (1529), at a rate of 49 flight per day, in order to confirm the smooth flow of air traffic in Iraqi space without any hindrance or delay."

    "The process of counting departing flighta is carried out by the Division Pilots' notices and reports after taking several procedures and tasks," included the statement.
