MOFA condemns the terrorist attack on Shiraz

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned today, Thursday, the terrorist attack, which targeted a religious shrine in the Iranian city of Shiraz.
The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its condemnation of the terrorist attack, which targeted a religious shrine in the city of Shiraz, yesterday, Wednesday, October 26, 2022, which killed dozens of citizens and injured others.".
The Ministry added, "As we renew the firm position of the Government of Iraq against terrorism, violence and the ideology of extremism, we share with the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran the pain of grief in these times, and we offer sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, and we pray for them mercy and satisfaction, and a speedy recovery for the wounded."
