Basra hosts the 25th Gulf Cup draw today

Basra province will host, today morning, a ceremony for the “Gulf 25” draw, the ceremony will be attended by the representatives of the eight teams participating in the competitions to be held from 6 to 19 January next year.

The organizing committee of the tournament confirmed completing all the logistical preparations for the draw ceremony in order to hold it in the best way, worthy of the standing of the Gulf football and its special place in the hearts of its fans."

It noted that "The Gulf Cup is usually played in a two-group system as the host country (Iraq) and the champion of the last tournament (Bahrain) will be on the top of these two groups ".
