ICAA : We are working to complete all international standards and requirements at Kirkuk Airport

    INA- BAGHDAD

    The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority ICAA confirmed Thursday work to complete all international standards and requirements at Kirkuk International Airport.

    ICAA said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "At the direction of the head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Nael Saad Abdul Hadi, the delegation of the aviation authority, headed by the deputy head of the authority, Ali Muhammad Taqi, discussed with the Department of Contracts and Licensing in the Ministry of Transport the basic work requirements for Kirkuk International Airport."  

    ICAA added that "the meeting discussed the nature of the procedures that enable it to operate the airport and through continuous work with the concerned parties for the purpose of overcoming all obstacles and providing facilities."

     The statement explained, "ICAA is working to complete all international standards and requirements at Kirkuk International Airport and in light of this grants the license to the airport, which will be ready to receive all flights."
