Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi announced on Wednesday, a three-day mourning period in Parliament for the martyrs of Iraq, from demonstrators to security forces.
The media office of the Speaker of Parliament said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that Parliamentary Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi declared “a three-day mourning period in the parliament for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq from demonstrators to security forces” upon the request of the MPs.
During the statement, Al-Halbousi called "the Prime Minister to declare a public mourning in the country."
