Worshipers gathered Friday morning, to the Grand Festivities Square in the Green Zone in the center of the capital, Baghdad, to perform the unified Friday prayer.
The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "worshippers from Baghdad and the provinces began to gather to the Grand Festivities Square in the Green Zone to hold the unified Friday prayer called by the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr."
Earlier, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called for a united Friday prayer to be held in the Grand Festivities Square in the Green Zone in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
