Large numbers of worshipers gathered today, Friday, in al- Muqdadiya in Diyala province to perform the unified prayer, which was called by Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr. 
 
Al-Sadr confirmed in his tweet, " To unify the Islamic rank in Iraq and to ward off sectarian strife provoked by some sides ... I send my greetings to the Sunnis and Shiites of Iraq first... and I hope that they will hold a joint prayer in the beloved Diyala anywhere they find appropriate, provided that attendance is From the nearby provinces, especially the beloved capital, Baghdad".
