The Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Muhammad Barikindo, arrived on Friday in Baghdad.
A statement by the Media Office of the Ministry of Oil, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Barrikendo arrived to participate in the launch of the book (The History of OPEC) in a celebration to be held in the People's Hall in Baghdad next Sunday, with the participation of the Minister of Oil and a number of officials, guests and those interested in the oil and energy sector."
It is noteworthy that the book launch ceremony comes within the framework of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the organization in Baghdad.
