UNAMI expresses concerns about the situations in Sinjar

    United Nations Mission in Iraq - UNAMI expressed on Monday, concerns about the developments of the situation in the district of Sinjar.

    "We are very concerned about the clashes in Sinjar and its consequences for civilians. It should be the safety and security of the people of Sinjar, at the heart of the priority of attention. They have suffered so much in the past and they deserve peace under the authority of the state," said UNAMI in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.


    UNAMI concluded by saying, "no place for internal and external disturbance in Sinjar,".
