The head of the Center for Foreigners and Immigrants Affairs at the Iranian Ministry of Interior, Nader Yar Ahmadi, announced the deportation of about 3 million illegal foreigners during the past three years.

“The difficult conditions prevailing in Afghanistan have led to the return of these people to the country, but with the strict follow-up by the police forces, we will witness the deportation of these foreigners from the country,” Ahmadi said.

The head of the center divided “the immigrants into two categories, the first category is related to legal immigrants, and includes nearly 700 Afghan specialist doctors working in hospitals.”

He added, “The biggest problem is related to the second category of foreigners, which is the entry of individuals due to the combat conditions in Afghanistan, as Iran could not remain indifferent to the situation of these people, but they were supposed to leave the country in a short period of time.”
