The Ministry of Defense announced Wednesday that its Minister, Jumaa Inad, had received an official invitation to visit the Czech Republic.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Minister of Defense Jumaa Inad Saadoun met, today, at the ministry's headquarters, the Czech ambassador to Iraq Petr ŠTĚPÁNEK," noting that "during the meeting, a number of issues of common interest between the two countries and ways to activate them were discussed.”
The ministry added, "The Czech ambassador handed the Minister of Defense an official invitation to visit the Czech Republic and get acquainted with the Czech military industries."
