National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji offered on Monday, an invitation to his Czech counterpart to visit Baghdad.
Al-Araji received, in his office the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Baghdad, Peter Stepanek, according to a statement by the media office of the National Security Adviser, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
During the meeting, they discussed strengthening Iraqi-Czech relations and ways to develop them and enhance cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Defense via the National Security Advisory.
Al-Araji stressed "the importance of continuing cooperation between the two countries in all fields," offering an invitation to the new Czech National Security Adviser to visit Baghdad.
The Czech ambassador congratulated the success of the Iraqi parliamentary elections, wishing Iraq and its people more success and stability.
