The Vice President of the Political Committee of the Sadrist Movement, Nassar Al-Rubaie, reviewed with the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Paula Elizabeth, the nature of the bilateral relationship between Iraq and Australia.
The political body of the Sadrist movement said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Rubaie received the Australian ambassador to Iraq, Paula Elizabeth," noting that "Al-Rubaie welcomed Elizabeth's visit to the headquarters of the political body, reviewing the nature of the bilateral relationship that links Iraq and Australia and at numerous levels".
"Al-Rubaie touched on the importance of this stage for the Iraqi people, as he aspires to a government that meets the aspirations of the citizens to live a decent life."
For her part, the Australian ambassador expressed her "happiness to visit the political body of the Sadrist movement," noting that "her country hopes for more joint cooperation in all fields."
