The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation (AIFI) announced today, Friday, seizing a stockpile of ammunition containing explosive materials north of the capital Baghdad.
A statement of the Military Media Cell received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "Through a proactive operation based on accurate intelligence information, The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation at the Ministry of Interior was able to seize a stockpile of ammunition in al- Salman area within Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad," noting that "the stockpile contains grenades and TS-50 anti-personnel mines belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs, as it is used to target security forces.
The statement added that "the forces of Explosive Ordnance Disposal removed the explosives materials without incident."
