The Popular Mobilization Forces-PMF announced on Thursday the arrest of a man in possession of 96,000 narcotic pills, west of Anbar province.
Anbar Operations Commander of PMF Qassem Musleh said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "A joint force from the 13th Brigade of Anbar Operations Command and a force from the Anti-Narcotics Directorate in Anbar, managed to arrest a person in possession of 96 thousand narcotic pills west of the province ".
He added that "there is great cooperation and coordination between the Popular Mobilization Forces and the security forces to ensure the security of Anbar Governorate," noting that "the accused has been transferred to the relevant authorities to take all the legal measures against him."
