PMF secure five important areas in Anbar

The Popular Mobilization Forces announced, on Friday, that five important areas in Anbar province had been completely secured.
 
"The Popular Mobilization Forces were able to secure five important areas in Anbar province in record time, compared to the difficult geographical terrain of those areas that is exploited by the enemy to hide”, according to the statement of the PMF , that received by The Iraqi News Agency(INA).
 
The commander of Anbar operations at PMF, Qassem Musleh, said, according to the statement: "The first hours of the morning witnessed the launch of the operation (Avenge of the Heroes) as the heroes of the Popular Mobilization Forces entered into the areas (Al-Fidah - Wadi Al-Kharsh - Makar Al-Dhib - Wadi Sawab) and the area adjacent to the Iraqi-Syrian border strip located between the road Akashat and the borders.

Musleh indicated that "the operation will continue for several days until completing the search and purge operation of the Anbar western areas, adjacent to the border," noting that the intelligence information that they have indicates the existence of a number of enemy hideouts in these areas."
