A terrorist and 12 wanted Persons arrested in a pre-emptive operation,Says BOC

Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) announced today, Saturday, the implementation of operations to arrest 13 suspects, including a terrorist and another for premeditated murder, on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa.

"formations in the First Federal Police Division, the Commando Brigade, with the support of intelligence agencies and services, were able to arrest 13 suspects during the past 24 hours according to various legal articles," A statement by the Baghdad Operations Media, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA)," stated.

The statement explained that "one of the accused was arrested under Article 4/1 of terrorism after his location and movements were monitored in the (Haswa/2000) area in Abu Ghraib district, while other accused were arrested for the crimes of (premeditated murder, drug trafficking and promotion, theft, and armed conflicts)," noting that "the unlicensed weapons in their possession were seized, within the areas of (Al-Baladiyat, Al-Karrada, Al-Ubaidi, Al-Kamaliya, Al-Nahrawan, Al-Zafaraniya, Al-Nidhal Street) on the Rusafa side."

"The accused and the seized items were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them," It added.
