Baghdad International Airport administration on Sunday denied hacking its official website.

"The Baghdad International Airport Administration denies that its official website has been breached," said a statement from the airport administration received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). "What happened is a transformation of the electronic link to show a page other than the official page," it said.

"Specialists have temporarily suspended the work of the site until the link is restored to normal," the statement said, adding that "the people responsible for attempting to hack and promote it will be prosecuted."
