Capturing a major financier of drug trafficking in Anbar- SMC reports

The Security Media Cell announced on Monday, the arrest of a major financier of drug trafficking in Anbar province.
SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "In continuation of its tasks in pursuing organized crime gangs, and in a qualitative operation carried out according to accurate information of the Intelligence Division, one of the joints of the Military Intelligence Directorate at the Ministry of Defense, which resulted in capruring one of the largest drug financiers in Al-Rutba in Anbar province, after ambushing him.
 
SMC also added, "The arrested is one of the defendants who previously targeted the security forces while they were pursuing him," noting that "he is wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of the Anti-Narcotics Law."
