Iraq declares solidarity with US over California wildfires

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, today, Friday, Iraq's solidarity with America over California wildfires.

A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): stated that "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the solidarity of the Republic of Iraq with the government and people of the United States of America, as a result of the forest fires that broke out in the state of California, which resulted in heavy losses of life and property."

According to the statement "the ministry expresses its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims," stressing, "Iraq stands with the United States in this difficult circumstance, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, and a return to normal life in the affected areas as soon as possible."
