Al-Kadhimi: Special voting procedures were successful and fair

    Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi said Friday that the special voting procedures were successful and fair.

    "Our heroes in the security and military forces have completed their votes in the special vote, with commitment, regularity and responsibility," al-Kadhimi said in a tweet seen by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

    "A successful first step towards the broad participation of our people in the public vote to complete the national duty and make change,” He said.
