MOFA: The police entry video to the Iraqi embassy in Moscow is old and dates back to 2013

Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, on Thursday, that the video clip, which was circulated, showing the police entering the Iraqi embassy in Moscow, is old and dates back to 2013.

MOFA spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Regarding what was circulated on social media about the police entering the building of the Iraqi embassy in Moscow, the clip is old since 2013 and relates to the Iraqi school there."

Al-Sahaf continued: We have found cooperation and coordination in a manner that confirms Iraq's right in this regard, through the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, and high-level efforts and in coordination with the competent authorities in Moscow. "
