Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi today, Monday, stressed that confronting human rights violations in Iraq is not an easy mission.
Al-Kadhimi said in a tweet to him on Twitter, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The forty days of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his righteous companions, is the most prominent humanitarian protest extended throughout history against human rights violations," noting that "this is an occasion to confirm that Confronting such violations in Iraq throughout the stages is not an easy task, and it is not done with good intentions alone.
He explained that "the approach to real change must start from the philosophy of dealing with people in all state institutions, especially the security and military institutions, and the rehabilitation of some investigators." We must include the subject of human rights in all school curricula to solidify it in hearts and minds and to make it a pathway to the future."
