Defense Minister Juma Anad and NATO Commander in Iraq Michael Lullsgaard discussed on Sunday, joint cooperation and training capabilities development.
"Defense Minister Juma Anad Saadoun met today in his office at the ministry's headquarters, the commander of the NATO mission in Iraq, Lt. Gen. Michael Lullsgaard, and a number of mission advisers," the ministry said in a statement received by the official Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"Both sides discussed the exchange of views and ways of joint cooperation and the development of training capabilities through the presence of the NATO mission in the country," the statement said.
"The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers in the Ministry of Defense," he said.
