Electoral Commission: government rewards every voter financially when receiving electoral card

Head of the Commissioners Board, Judge Jalil Adnan Khalaf, announced Sunday, that the government will give a financial reward to every voter who receives his or her electoral card.

Khalaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "The government will provide a special reward to every voter who quickens receiving his printed electoral card, which is currently in voter registration centers so that he can participate in the elections.

"The date of ending the delivery of cards not received by their owners and withdrawing them to the National Office is approaching," he said.
