The Al-Fateh Alliance affirmed its categorical rejection and strong condemnation of the attempts of a misguided group to prejudice the constants of the Iraqi people in supporting the Palestinian cause and confronting the Zionist entity, while noting that the normalization meeting is a criminal act.
The coalition said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Having a meeting in Erbil to normalize with the Zionist entity is a criminal act according to the Iraqi law in force, and all those who prepared and participated in this meeting are considered traitors, and they must be tried and the maximum penalties imposed on them."
He added: "We call on the Iraqi national judiciary to prosecute and implement the law in force, and we also call on the great Iraqi people and all official, religious and popular institutions and Iraqi clans to renounce this criminal group and disavow it."
The statement continued: "The Zionist killing entity will not have a place in the Iraq of prophets, saints, martyrs and righteous people, and we affirm our firm support for the Palestinian people and their just cause in liberation and the right of return and the establishment of their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, and Iraq will remain active in the axis of resistance to this usurping Zionist entity."
