SMC announces capturing a terrorist north of Baghdad

The Security Media Cell announced today, Saturday, the arrest of a terrorist north of Baghdad.

SMC said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Based on accurate intelligence information, our security forces conducted a qualitative preemptive operation, with the support of the Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Cell of the Military Intelligence Directorate at the Ministry of Defense, as the information confirmed the whereabouts of the terrorist nickname Abu Khadija, one of ISIS terrorists in the village of Khamsa, belonging to Al-Mishahda district north of Baghdad.

The statement added, " The detachments of the Sources Division and the intelligence cell headed towards the target as they were able to arrest the terrorist who is wanted in several terrorist cases according to Article 4 of anti-Terrorism law ."
