The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday, that Minister Fuad Hussein handed the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan an invitation from Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to attend the meeting of neighboring countries leaders.
A statement of MOFA, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, indicating that Hussein handed the Turkish president an invitation from Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to attend the summit meeting of leaders of Iraq's neighboring countries that will be held in Baghdad at the end of this month.
during the meeting, a number of issues related to bilateral relations and the situation in the region were discussed, the statement added.
