On the path of Arab solidarity in facing challenges and strengthening relations between Iraq, Egypt and Jordan on the basis of cooperation and coordination to serve the interests of their peoples, the tripartite Baghdad summit, whose final statement came out with 29 points, addressed the emphasis on important axes that expanded to the level of agreement on future prospects with serious work that laid political, economic and security foundations It is solid, viewed with triple optimism, with seriousness to strengthen relations with important and ambitious strategic projects.
The needs of the citizens of the three countries were set as a basis according to the mechanisms and frameworks included in the final statement of the summit, and additional outputs were revealed by Iraqi officials in conversations with the Iraqi News Agency.
The final statement of the tripartite summit stated that it comes as a continuation of the efforts of the three leaders, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, King Abdullah II of Jordan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in strengthening and integrating joint efforts in all fields, as the leaders stressed the need to follow the necessary measures to start implementing the joint Iraqi-Jordanian economic city project. Strengthening the electrical interconnection project and the exchange of electric power between the three countries, linking gas transmission networks between Iraq and Egypt through Jordan, and providing an outlet for the export of Iraqi oil through Jordan and Egypt by proceeding with the completion of the Arab Gas Line and the establishment of the crude oil transmission line (Basra - Aqaba), and cooperation in various fields of projects Electricity, renewable energy, petrochemicals, capacity building and exchange of experiences, and working to create an investment climate to support private sector companies to implement projects in the three countries.
They agreed on the necessity of cooperation in the agricultural field and food security by completing the project of establishing a regional company for marketing agricultural products and signing a cooperation protocol in agricultural fields.
The leaders agreed to cooperate in the field of transporting travelers between the three countries with a unified comprehensive ticket and facilitating the procedures for granting entry visas between them while encouraging investment in the housing sector, roads, bridges and infrastructure projects in the three countries, and building partnerships between business owners, investors, contracting companies and engineering consultancy to contribute to construction and providing the necessary facilities to promote the exchange of products and materials used in the construction sector.
On the security side, the leaders stressed in a statement of their tripartite summit the importance of security and intelligence coordination between the three countries to combat terrorism, organized crime and drugs, exchange experiences in the field of forensic evidence and combat cybercrime and infiltration, and confront all those who support terrorism by financing or arming or providing safe havens and media platforms. They also stressed the importance of completing the comprehensive fight against terrorism.

An important gains are expected from the Baghdad summit, at the forefront of which are security and military, as Adviser to Prime Minister Hussein Allawi confirms to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Al-Kadhimi worked through the tripartite summit to consolidate the concept of a comprehensive joint regional security to face challenges in the areas of military security, political security, health security and security." economic and cultural security.
He added, "The military dimension of the comprehensive regional common security is consolidated through counter-terrorism measures and its use of the root of the term in the Arab-Islamic thought called (terrorist of the age), and it reminds us of Iraq's civilized ability to confront the phenomenon of extremism and combat terrorism through historical depth and operational ability after Iraq's victory over generations. The three terrorists, the last of which was ISIS terrorist gangs.
"As for military and intelligence measures and building the capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces, intelligence cooperation between the three countries will increase, in addition to exchanging experiences and information in the intelligence sector," he added.
He pointed out that "there are additional security measures, especially in the field of military training programs, as we will witness great cooperation in the next phase in the fields of military exercises and education, the exchange of military and security expertise, and the development of joint operations in the field of combating smuggling, drugs and cross-border crime."
He stressed that "Al-Kadhimi will focus on the outcomes of the tripartite summit to build the Iraqi state and enhance its effectiveness and external interaction through joint cooperation with Jordan and Egypt to enhance the effective partnership between the three countries."
Investment Authority: We expect a strong Egyptian role to solve the housing problem in Iraq
The head of the Investment Authority, Suha in Al-Najjar, confirms to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the Iraqi government is moving according to two tracks in the field of housing, the first is the implementation of housing projects in exchange for oil, this mechanism is within the competence of the Ministry of Housing, and there are discussions with the Egyptian side in this aspect."
The authority added, "The second track is investment and there is a remarkable Jordanian and Egyptian activity, and Egypt's experience is important for Iraq, especially with the similarity in the demographics of the two countries. We have interest from a number of Egyptian companies to design housing projects outside the basic design of cities, providing low, medium and high-cost units, and we expect that The Egyptian side has a strong role in solving the housing problem in Iraq."

Member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Deputy Abdul Bari Al-Modarres, explains in his speech to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the tripartite meeting in Baghdad laid important foundations, through which bilateral relations will be strengthened, and since the countries have their political weight in the region, what was agreed upon will pave the way for political and the region's stability.".
He continued, "With regard to the economic aspect, Jordan has the port of Aqaba, which will be a gateway for Iraq's oil and commercial exports, while Egypt has a good industry and can help Iraq in this aspect, and we expect that there will be an economic exchange between Iraq, Jordan and Egypt."
