Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA issued a statement regarding the death of an Iraqi on the common borders between Belarus and Lithuania.

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Moscow is following with great interest the details of the incident that killed an Iraqi citizen on the joint border between Belarus and Lithuania, according to a statement by the Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahafi, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"We renew our call to all Iraqis not to be a target for smuggling and human trafficking networks,” he added.
