The leader of Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, expressed his thanks for the efforts made to develop the agreement to withdraw combat forces from Iraq.
"A “Thank you” to the Iraqi national resistance, here is the occupation announcing the start of the withdrawal of its combat forces as a whole,” said Al-Sadr in a tweet on his official Twitter account, on Monday.
He added: "Let us wait to complete the withdrawal, and thank you for the efforts made to develop this agreement, especially by Brother Al-Kadhimi,”
