PM Al-Kadhimi: Arresting the terrorist network behind al-Sadr city bombing

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi announced on Saturday, the arrest of the perpetrators of Al-Sadr City bombing, east of Baghdad.

"The tears and sorrow of the hearts of our people, the families of the martyrs of al-Sadr City, were our way and our beacon for carrying out the process of arresting all the cowardly terrorist network that planned and executed the treacherous attack on Al-Waheilat Market," said Al-Kadhimi, in a tweet on his official Twitter account.

He added: "Today, they will be presented before the law and our people, as they will be an example to every sinister aggressor,''

Earlier last Monday, a suicide bombing targeted the Al-Waheilat market in al-Sadr City, east of Baghdad, killing over 30 people and wounding more than 50 others.
