Authorities in Los Angeles announced on Thursday that at least five people have been killed in massive wildfires that broke out on the outskirts of the city and are still out of control and spreading rapidly, warning that the toll is likely to rise.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said, "Earlier today, we announced two deaths, unfortunately, the number has risen to five as we continue to advance in this area."
