Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi issued directives regarding the wounded in the Al-Sadr City bombing, while stressing the need to unite to correct the health sector's situation .
And the media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kadhimi inspected the wounded in the terrorist bombing in Sadr City from those who were sleeping in the Medical City Hospital, to check on their health and conditions."
The statement added that "Al-Kadhimi visited the wards of the wounded and reviewed the medical and health services, and directed to provide all means of support necessary for their recovery, in addition to sponsoring the travel and care of those who need treatment outside Iraq."
Addressing the patients, Al-Kadhimi said: "You are a trust in our necks, and that cowardly terrorism has consistently targeted defenseless civilians in the markets," stressing that "what happened from the terrorist bombing was the result of corruption and the accumulations that we are trying hard to fix."
Al-Kadhimi met with the staff of the Medical City Hospital, and praised their great efforts for what they have done in order to save the lives of the wounded, in addition to their tremendous work in addressing the Corona pandemic and their standing in the first line against the pandemic .
