The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Thursday, that one of their forces repelled an attack against ISIS south of Kirkuk.
PMF said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): a joint force from the third regiment of the 56th Brigade at PMF and the Federal Police managed to repel an attack by ISIS members against a security point near the gate of Riyadh district, south of Kirkuk.
PMF also added that the attack resulted in the injury of a fighter from the Federal Police, before the terrorists fled away.
