A terrorist arrested in Diyala

The security forces arrested a terrorist in Khalis district in Diyala province.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), The Security Media Cell stated today, Monday, that a force from the Fifth Divisions of AIFI and a reconnaissance battalion carried out a duty jointly with the force of the Military Intelligence Directorate at the Ministry of Defense, in Diyala province, Khalis District, Saadiya Al-Shatt village.

The joint force was able to arrest a wanted terrorist in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of Anti- Terrorism Law, as the terrorist fired shots at the force that execute the arrest warrant, but despite the resistance, the force was able to arrest him without losses, and he was handed over to the concerned authority, the statement added.
