The Ministry of Health and Environment warned today, Thursday against entering Iraq with a third wave of the Corona epidemic, more severe than the first and second waves, while calling for full adherence to preventive measures and speeding up receiving the anti-vaccine to reduce the rate of injuries and deaths.
The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "following up on the epidemiological situation by specialists in the Ministry of Health and through epidemiological indicators shows that the epidemic is still active and mutations in strains continue, threatening the international community as a whole, as the third wave began in our country and in other countries."
Neighboring countries and in the countries of the world, despite the advanced rates achieved by countries in vaccinating their citizens.
The Ministry also added, "The rise in infection rates in our country portends a third wave that may be more severe than the two previous waves, which calls for taking the necessary precautions to confront it, whether by health institutions by providing all necessary preventive and curative supplies or by citizens to fully adhere to preventive measures and speed up heading to health institutions to receive the vaccine."
Especially since the quantities of the vaccine will be available double and in large quantities in the coming weeks."
