600 Iraqi among Camp Speicher victims, their fate still unknown

    The head of the organizing committee for the memorial ceremony of Camp Speicher massacre, and the leader at the Popular Mobilization Forces, Maeen Al-Kadhimi, confirmed today, Saturday, that 600 Iraqi  among Speicher victims  are still missing and their fate is not yet known.
    Maeen Al-Kadhimi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that Speicher massacre in Tikrit, which took place on such a day 7 years ago, took the lives of 2,000 Iraqis, most of them were security members, in a brutal manner, adding that after the liberation of conquered provinces in 2015, we enabled to find the bodies of 1,200 martyrs and they were handed over to their families.
    He also mentioned that there are still 600 missing while their families still wait to know any information about them, and there are 200 martyrs who are still present in forensic medicine, calling to bring the killers who committed this crime to justice.
