Minister of Culture Hassan Nazim, Tourism and Antiquities announced projects to rehabilitate statues and archaeological sites. He also stressed that the delay in approving the budget was a reason for stopping construction and rehabilitation work previously.
Nazim said that the ministry after approving the budget, has room to think about a set of projects, because the allocations of funds prevented it from rehabilitation projects.
He added that the projects do not only include the rehabilitation , but also monuments and heritage houses. He certain the Department of Arts in the Ministry currently has a new cadre and is trying to set priorities for the implementation of projects and the Ministry has a set of ideas related to building new statues, and others related to establishing an exhibition for artists, as well as other works.
