National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji arrived in Sulaymaniyah Governorate today, Sunday, to follow up on the implementation of the security agreement between Iraq and Iran.
The media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji, accompanied by a security delegation, visited Sulaymaniyah today, Sunday, to follow up on the implementation of the security agreement between Iraq and Iran."
"Al-Araji and the accompanying security delegation met with the leaders of the security services in the presence of the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pafel Talabani."
"The implementation of the security agreement between Iraq and Iran was discussed, and all the information contained in the agreement was discussed, and the reality of the camps allocated by the Iraqi government, which were transferred from the border to inside Sulaymaniyah, was reviewed."
"Al-Araji visited the shrine of former President Jalal Talabani and laid a wreath of flowers on the shrine."
