The Presidency of the Republic condemns the terrorist act in Tuz Khurmatu District

The Presidency of the Republic condemned, on Sunday, the cowardly terrorist act against one of the joint brigades of the Iraqi army and the Peshmerga forces, in Tuz Khurmatu District.
 
The media department of the Presidency of the Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Presidency of the Republic condemns in the strongest terms the cowardly terrorist act against one of the joint brigades of the Iraqi army and the Peshmerga forces, which resulted in the martyrdom of three members of the brigade as a result of the explosion of an explosive device in Tuz Khurmatu District."
 
It added, "We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the righteous martyrs, asking God to have mercy on them and to grant them a place in His spacious paradise, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded."
"We affirm our full support for efforts to enhance security and stability in our country, and to continue to confront isolated terrorist groups with all strength and determination, until the elimination of their last remnants, to ensure a safe and stable life for our people."
