Parliamentary confirmation that the elections will be held on time

 Today, Sunday, deputies from various political blocs renewed their position on the necessity of holding the elections on time, stressing the readiness of the Independent High Electoral Commission to conduct the elections.
The deputy of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that the early elections must take place on the specified date, as it was a popular demand that originally came during the October demonstrations, noting that the basis for forming the government was for the sake of holding early, fair and transparent elections.
 Al-Baldawi added, The House of Representatives prepared the preparations for holding early elections from a legislative point of view, as a new election law was enacted, the Electoral Commission was dissolved, and a new commission of judges was formed, in addition to approving the law of the High Electoral Commission, in addition to the legislation of the Federal Supreme Court Act, and provided all the legislation needed by the entity.
