Bin Khalifa: We will strongly defend to lift the total ban on Iraqi stadiums

The head of the Gulf Federation, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the federation will defend strongly for the decision to lift the total ban on Iraqi stadiums.
The normalization body of the Iraqi Football Association stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the president of the Gulf and Qatari federations, Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, visited the Iraqi delegation, which includes the Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal, the President of the Normalization Authority, Iyad Bunyan, and the Governor of Basra. Asaad Al-Eidani and the Secretary General of Normalization Muhammad Farhan, at his residence in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Bin Khalifa congratulated the Iraqi delegation, according to the statement, "Iraq won by organizing the Gulf Arab 25 unanimously," stressing "the support of the great Gulf and Qatari federations for Iraq in organizing this tournament and providing all capabilities for its success and making it an exceptional tournament."
