King Abdullah of Jordan, today, Sunday, offered his condolences to Iraq over the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital fire.
A statement by the Jordanian royal court said, "The king sent a cable of condolences to the Iraqi President, Barham Salih, for the victims of the tragic fire accident that occurred at Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad, yesterday, Saturday.
He added, "The king expressed in his telegram, in his name and on behalf of the people and government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the most sincere feelings of condolences and sympathy, asking God Almighty Almighty to bestow his mercy on the victims and bless the injured with a speedy recovery.
The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced today that the death toll in the accident reached 82 martyrs and 110 injured.
