WhatsApp dropped the most wanted feature this week: message drafts.
Now, WhatsApp lets users know if they have unsent messages typed up in chats, so they know to get back to them later.
To let a user know about a draft, messages they've started writing will show a green and bold “Draft” word followed by what they've typed up. That way, they can ponder about finishing it when they open the app and not accidentally ignore their friends.
Drafts also end up at the top of the chats list, so they don’t have to scroll to search for lost ones. The feature is now available in the app worldwide, Engadget reports.
WhatsApp announced in July that it had hit 100 million monthly active users, and it recently gained some useful new features, including its own built-in address book and custom lists to organize the user's chats.
